I PRAY MORE AND MORE

Last night I prayed for the soul
Of the man who died of hunger
While my dogs belched all the way to dreamland.

Last night I prayed for the soul
Of the man who was slain mistakenly by cops
While I embezzled public coffers in broad daylight.

Last night I prayed for the soul
Of the man who was shot dead
For demanding for haki yake
While I shot semen into his wife
For a jingle of pennies and a casual job.
I’ll keep on praying more and more….

A PICKPOCKET IN THE STREET

His nebulous hue dies
A melancholy smile
Substitutes the garnished one
The gush on his chest
Oozing with dark blood
The onslaught leaves him
To fight only for his life
Not for the loot
Now scattered on the hot tarmac
Men, women and children watch
As spasmodic waves of life
Ebb out of him.

NANNY-GOAT

The fatty nanny-goat passes by
A stinging stench fills the air
A bunch of buzzing flies choruses
All round it like mighty bodyguards
Her mind shifts back in time
When a long shirt was her only garment
When she would wake up early
Before dawn
To spread out her urine saturated mat
Out in the sun to dry.

Her mother
Always called her nanny-goat
Her father would scotch it
By spanking the woman
By mid-month she would be sent
To borrow some salt
She would walk off
With shrinking shoulders
Recalling her previous episode
At the neighbour’s shanty.

Nanny-goat has now evolved
To a tender woman
The town beauty
Curvaceous low hips
Big sharp eyes
A destroying smile
The nanny- goat, a gift
From a deceased mother is precious
She can see her mother’s smile
On its hairy muzzle.

BIG TUMMY, SMALL BRAIN

If I said behind your eyes
There’s no brain
That all you think of is political gain
At the expense of wananchi’s pain
If it’s worth it you maim
If it counts you absolve your gang
From blame
That the power you ride on is fueled
By blood, sweat and a nation up in flames.
Would you, Mheshimiwa complain?

If I said beyond your handouts
Is a misty conspiracy to rape our economy
That you invest in masses’ naivety
To gain ethno-political supremacy
That to you sovereignty
Is synonymous with impunity
That you hide your guilty conscience
Under mare masquerade and pretence
As you mourn with mourners
And dine with the hungry
Would you, Hon. Fox, deny?

If I said beneath your sneer
Lies a ruthless heartless wild bear
That you feed on the best of menus
Later to belch smelly obnoxious filth
On a funeral podium
That you are a cheap political prostitute
Who quickly tears off her pants
For any demagogue who can afford a condom
Just to protect yourself
From irrelevance syndrome
Would you, big tummy, object?

simonpoetically: MY POLITICAL MIND

simonpoetically: MY POLITICAL MIND: "My political mind Has turned me to one Who doesn't mind One with a dead conscience One suffering from memory lapse. My political mind..."

ONLY YOU

Moving your elegant
Beauty
You trigger moans
Those of unfathomable pleasure
You induce tears
Not weeping, not sorrow
But full-hearted loving
On your tender girlish face
Curious eyes, smooth lips
Round shapely hips
Only you, not others
Strike like a wild tiger
In that heaven given Pleasure;
Mates’ paradise
None makes me madder
Than that sweet scented aroma
Kisses, slender feminine fingers
Caressing, Interlocking
With masculine ones
Of I your only lover

WORDS

Cruel words that disfigure happiness
Rebellious words that portray carelessness
Violent words that cap callousness.

Sweet words that move mountains
Caring words that create joyous fountains
Yet consoling words that contain
And soften a grief stricken heart.

SWEET EYED QUEEN

Sweet eyed queen
Be my new love twin
Conquer my manhood
With your soft moods
Shower my empty life
With glaciers of laughter
Like a double edged knife
Tear through my past
With promises that last
Oh my flower from afar.

Sweet eyed queen
I’m your Romeo be my Juliet
Hold my hand lets stroll in the moonlight
Cruising the vast skies like a playful kite
To mates paradise let’s take a flight
There our future will be bright
Bright with no traces of lonely nights
Only romantic, breath taking sights
For sure it’s a voyage worth a million fights.

Sweet eyed queen
Stroke my sleeping emotions
Caress my heart into motion
Jog my feelings into motivation
You whose smile is inevitable
Whose beauty is indescribable
Unchain this soul of mine
Place me back on the line
Let me just taste your wine.

Sweet eyed queen
Gentle is your touch
A creamy voice to match
All I’d die to watch
Catch or forever search
Sweet eyed queen
Show me the way to win
Love and forever pin
You to my junk being.

THEY CALL YOU DUMMY

They call you dummy
You always heed to advice from mummy
Not to let them touch your panty.

They say you're backward

You don’t give in to obscene lads

Lost in alcoholic fad.

They’ve tagged you mshamba

You refused to become a member

Of their gang known to spiritually dismember.

They’ve branded you idiot

You detest their Sodom of faggots

Meant for the spiritually destitute.

They’ve isolated you

Remind them that the world will isolate them too

When HIV will wipe out all the girls they woo

That their only prize will be a shameful boo.

LITTLE FRIDAH

Little Fridah, little wonder, with little to ponder
Your little angelic eyes facing yonder
As white as snow reflecting the serenity in you
Little round dimpled cheeks, little soft lips
Oh! what other wonder would one seek?
Than a genuine little toothless smile
Not yet tainted by humanity full of bile.

Little Fridah, little wonder, with little to ponder
Your little limbs kicking, kicking and kicking
Your little lips giggling, little body wiggling
Innocently crying a little innocent baby cry
Just seeking for a little motherly attention
A little silent chat to keep you in motion.

Little Fridah, little wonder, with little to ponder
How I wish your innocence lives on
Even when your little tender age is gone
That your sincerity is never a little blurred
By little plastic toys
Little plastic money
Little plastic frowns
Little plastic smiles.

Little Fridah, little wonder, with little to ponder
Over the coming years as you wander
Let not the little plastic world
Put you and innocence asunder
Oh my little Fridah, little wonder, with little to ponder.
