Poetry is what surrounds you, the air you breath, the the golden sunset you see, the chirping birds you hear, yet the wind that blows off your clothes such that we see your naked mind.

THE WITCH IN THE MOONLIGHT
She has bewitched him; the witch
Who dances naked in the moonlight
He now speaks to shadows
Telling them how he loved her
How they exchanged vows at the shrine
How they laughed as they tossed red wine.
She has bewitched him; the witch
Who dances naked in the moonlight
He now hugs trees, smiles at flies
He even kissed a goat
Yes! a real full kiss
Saying it's her soft lips that he misses.
She has bewitched him; the witch
Who dances naked in the moonlight
Just yesterday he spanked his grandmother's bums
Shouting they resembled his beloved's
That they had been snatched from Nini
They say this is the name of her lost love.
She has bewitched him; the witch
Who dances naked in the moonlight
I hear even Babu* can't clean the spell
That prayers alone won't do
She has bewitched him; Nini
His childhood lover
Who was raped and killed by a callous gangster
*Babu is a popular medicineman from Tanzania who offers water believed to cure all diseases.
